Incredible Finger Paintings #design #art

While working, Iris Scott resembles a pianist – however, instead of music, she creates gorgeous finger paintings. With her hands in a pair of surgical gloves, the artist works by touching the canvas at multiple points at the same time. It might sound complicated, but she actually learned that this way it’s easier to get beautiful paint swirls and manage the amounts of oil.

Iris discovered finger paintings while living in Thailand. Hating the idea of having to clean the paint brush before going for the bright yellow, she applied the color with her fingertips. “I knew within 10 strokes that finger painting with oils was what I would spend the rest of my life doing,” says Iris. She says she has multiple sources of inspiration – sometimes a photograph or her own sketch: “I search for color relationships, and intriguing forms. I see the world through ‘finger painted’ colored glasses.”

La Gioconda, la obra más admirada. #infografia #arte

3D Pencil Drawings by Ramon Bruin #design #dibujos #3D

A Dutch freelancer Ramon Bruin proves that a skilled artist doesn’t need much to simulate reality – for him, it’s enough to just have one pencil. To get 3D effect, Ramon applies the anamorphic technique: he draws a detailed yet distorted image which comes together only when photographed from the correct angle.

A graduate of the Airbrush Academie in Lelystad, Netherlands, admits it was airbrushing that helped him develop this technique of photo-realistic drawing. It was this element of the subtle gradient that first attracted him to airbrushing, and you spot how Ramon transfers that to his pencil drawings. Check them out and you’ll catch yourself wanting to actually brush away the lizards, crawling on the sheet of paper!

Tutorial Photoshop: Cómo crear y pintar un personaje. #tutorial #photoshop

Sketching up a pose

Now we have a detailed description of our character. The only thing left to do (and the most fun) is to bring him to life. First, let’s begin with a pose. No details yet, we just want it to be able to stand up. Like in architectural design, you can’t build a house if you don’t have a solid base to build upon, else everything will collapse.
To start building the sketch, do NOT look into details such as muscles and eyes. Use only straight or slightly curved lines and if possible, only triangles (the simplest shape you can draw!).

Realistic Tattoos #tattoo #fotografia #design #photography

Venezuelan tatto artist Yomico Moreno creates some of the creepiest and most realistic muscle tissue and biomech tattoos you’ll ever see. Some images may be too intense for sensitive people, so view at your own risk.

Moreno became interested in tattooing at the age of 14 and since then has dedicated his life to it. He says that his favorite style is realism because it’s the most challenging. The artist has been in professional tattoo business for approximately 9 years now, participating in numerous conventions in England, Denmark, Italy, Belgium and Australia.
